The website for the infamous band, Pixies, has relaunched with a mobile-friendly redesign of their existing website theme and layout.
In addition to the adaptive design, Get Boosted also spent time optimising the site to further increase the user experience across all devices, but particularly for mobile users where site speed and ease-of-use are paramount.
The result is a markedly faster site thanks to the use of caching, a reduction in the number of requests per page and some good old-fashioned code refactoring.
Get Boosted helped roll-out the changes just days before Pixies embarked on their next world tour, something that is sure to drive a lot of traffic to the site from all manner of devices.
And from what we hear, the feedback so far has all been positive which is great news.
